How TILIS adds value to education and training

TALC began TILIS on the basis that it would assist educators and studetns find each other in the wider world of the Internet. Since 2005 it has become obvious that TILIS can do much more than this. However, TALC is committed to its mandate to "build capability" in the T&L industry and thus a significant amount of effort has been (and continues to be) invested in the education and learning aspects of TILIS.

TILIS can assist organisations by providing tools or services to either better complete current activities, or to obtain capabilities they currently cannot afford. 

Two areas where the most immediate impact will be for educational providers supplying content, and organisations seeking to either manage a learning supply chain or seeking to discover, find, access, manage and share content.
