Why the national and international interest

The adherence to future international content, access and identity management standards means TILIS is a model for other industries to replicate, in Australia and globally. 

TALC has worked with the Commonwealth Department of Education, Science and Training (DEST), Directorate of Education Innovation and Infrastructure Policy to ensure the TILIS repository is framed as part of a wider national response to the international Content Object Repository Discovery and Registration/Resolution Architecture (CORDRA) initiative.
